Two important entrances
Main entrance on Fürstenrieder Straße
The main entrance is on Fürstenrieder Straße, on the side of the old section. The gate is intended for pedestrians; bicycles and motor vehicles do not pass through it. The Waldfriedhof Haupteingang bus stop is on this side of the cemetery.
Lorettoplatz entrance
The Lorettoplatz entrance is on the side of the new section. This gate is also intended for pedestrians; bicycles and motor vehicles do not pass through it. The Lorettoplatz bus stop is at the square.

Arriving by bus
- Waldfriedhof Haupteingang: route 51 between Aidenbachstraße (U) and Moosach Bahnhof (S/U/R); route 151 between Parkstadt Solln and Westfriedhof (U).
- Lorettoplatz: route 54 between Lorettoplatz and Münchner Freiheit (U).

Parking
